The Disappearing Nights

The modern era has bought all the pleasures of life that we cab possibly imagine, be it the movies, sports, entertainment , you name it and you have it.

But, every aspect of life brings with it the rusted side of the coin as well.

In the ragging 21st century where we see cut throat competition ever flourishing, the increasing distances in families, where early to bed and early to rise seems to be a far fetched thing. We see the darkness disappearing from our lives. We see days that has no ends, when the sun sets its no longer considered the end of the day.We have lost the darkness from out lives. We experience days that barely comes to an end.

We either strive harder just to maintain the current positions or simply crave to have the last laugh in online games at the cost of sleepless nights.

We have lost the beauty of spending romantic nights with our loved ones. The nights are no longer quite, cuddly, delightful, elegant like ever before.

We see people working in what we call as the 'GRAVEYARD SHIFTS' that is midnight blues.

The heavy drilling of the jack hammers, the cranking of the cranes, the traffic jams have become a part of daily midnight sight seeing.

We see a whole breed of people chatting, texting, chasing the deadlines after the clock strikes midnight. Now, there is a whole new world waiting for you to reach out to after night falls.

The new generation gels well with their colleagues rather than their families as a result of the changed trends in sleeping habits.

There are individuals who consider nightfall as their freedom as they can be themselves, a life without boundaries, hours of luxurious nights.

On the flip side we have thousands of surveys conducted on the ill effects of having sleepless nights. We have increased stress levels, shorter life spans, heart strokes, and the list goes on.

The decision of healthy and prosperous lives lies with ourselves only.

Just Switch Off the light and say GOOD NIGHT and experience the exquisite sleep.
